In the 1930’s - 1970’s, Black Supper clubs were cultural hubs where artists, musicians, writers, and community leaders gathered to share ideas, build movements, and experience joy in the midst of a world that often refused them space to do so.
The Savoy Supper Society carries that legacy forward.
On April 17, 2026, we are hosting an immersive six-course dinner with an artistic exploration and a pilot event for a modern supper society that brings people together through food, culture, and shared purpose.
We are inviting you to be part of it.
Goal: $2,200 — by April 14, 2026
Every Dollar Has a Place
Your donation helps bring this experience to life — from the first course to the final frame.
The food itself — six courses, sourced with intention
A welcoming experience for every guest
Professional photography, film, and audio archiving
Honoraria for the chefs, creatives, and artists making it happen
Menus, printed materials, and keepsakes guests take home
Every contribution moves us closer to April 17th. The table is being set.
How Much We've Raised
Why give?
-
✽
Visibility in a highly curated space
Your name or brand appears in the event program, on all printed materials, and across the Savoy's social presence before, during, and after the event. The audience is intentionally small and intentionally influential — artists, academics, creatives, and community leaders.
-
✽
Documentation you can use
April 17th will be professionally photographed and filmed as part of an academic thesis project. Sponsors at The Movement and Legacy tiers are captured within that documentation, that becomes part of the Savoy's permanent archive and future marketing.
-
✽
Be Part of A Solution
Join this community as we use the table to discuss creative solutions to current issues.
A portion of the proceeds from our first ticketed event will go toward serving a free dinner to the community, where we first hear what we can do as creatives, organizers, and business owners to work together to address important issues.
-
✽
Academic recognition
This dinner is an important part in my thesis plan at the University of Washington. Sponsors are acknowledged in the formal thesis documentation, connecting your support to a body of scholarly work exploring Black cultural history, that will be published.
-
✽
Contribute Beyond the Dollar
Not every contribution is financial. Savoy welcomes in-kind partnerships from businesses and individuals who want to contribute goods, services, or expertise, such as wine, florals, photography, tableware, sound equipment, and more.
In return, in-kind partners are named verbally at the dinner, credited on all printed materials, featured in event photography, and acknowledged across Savoy's social platforms.
-
✽
First access to what comes next
The Savoy Supper Society is a pilot. The vision includes future ticketed dinners and a community giveback model.
Legacy tier sponsors receive first right of partnership as Savoy grows — meaning your support now is an early investment in something with long-term cultural and commercial potential.
Make a Donation
When you choose to give, you become part of a meaningful community. Your support fuels progress towards creative solutions to gather with purpose.
